Corryvrecken whirlpool

We anchored in Pig’s Bay on the north end of Jura Island, west coast of Scotland. We are a stone’s throw from the infamous Gulf of Corryvreckan. We had to fight a bit of a tidal current to get in but now had a front row seat, from the safety of a high hill, to watch all the action. And action there was! Glad we were not out in it. Hiked a bit and had to scare off a troop of feral goats. Also saw one of the over 5,000 deer that roam these parts.
