We have found you can only scratch the surface being in Edinburgh for 24 hours. We did see the castle, walked the Royal Mile to watch the street performers, checked out Scottish history in their history museum. And at the National Library we saw two displays - Jane Austin's original edition of Pride and Prejudice, with some of her clothing; and a fascinating display about David Livingston's adventures in Africa. The Fringe Festival starts this weekend so the city is abuzz getting ready for it. We have left plenty of things to do and see if we ever come back!
