I thought you might find this picture I took from the bus to be interesting. Snow on the Monadhliath Mountains just south of Inverness. By mountains you have to realize they are around 3,000 feet and they still have pockets of snow.
I woke at 5:00 a.m. on Wednesday and had a busy day of errands and watching the one-year old grandson. Then I had a car ride, an LRT ride, a plane ride, another plane ride, a bus ride and another bus ride. Paul, thankfully, was waiting for me at the bus terminal and after a quick walk to the boat I was able to hit the sack Thursday at 10:00 p.m. Inverness time. This was a total of 35 hours. I was awake most of the way, with a couple of 15 - 30 minute naps. Nothing like being hit upside the head to get over the time zone changes pronto.
