Blanco village

Nokomis is all bundled up and ready for delivery to the cargo ship and we are heading home to Minneapolis. Cheapest flights are out of Madrid so we are taking a train there and decided to make one tourist stop. Ronda is one of the blanco villages in the mountains of the Malaga region. Very historic, has Roman ruins, a river that cuts a deep gorge through town, and lots of tourists. Luckily for us, we are past the high season and did not have crowds of people to contend with. We went to a wonderful flamenco guitar concert, saw a traditional flamenco dance, visited museums, saw the Roman bath house and hiked around the gorge. All very lovely and enchanting. The perfect way to end our travels. Next stop is Madrid and then home.
