Close to Spain

We are still, thankfully, having a calm passage to Spain. Thursday the winds were light and our average boat speed was 4.5 knots. Friday the wind was a little stronger and our average boat speed was 5 knots. Today the wind is light again and we are working on deploying the spinnaker. We are on track for arrival Sunday in La Coruna. We have been eating well, reading, talking, playing cards and, a special treat, Nick plays his fiddle and sings. Friday overnight we had a long trail of glowing phosphorescence behind the boat but very few jelly fish. We passed over the edge of the continental shelf and are in deep water. We are seeing very few birds or dolphins. We have finally sailed further south in latitude than Minneapolis.
