There are mountains along this coast so we sited land when we were 45 nautical miles away. We reached A Coruna around noon. Time enough to shower, eat lunch and then head into town to explore. This town is much larger than we expected. The picture is of the Tower of Hercules - the oldest lighthouse on this coast. It was originally built by the Romans around 100 ACE.
Vicki and Paul Have sailed Nokomis on Lake Superior from 2002 until 2011.
