Sailing Walkabout

We've been working on Walkabout, our new-to us Hans Christian 38T Telstar since we got her back to Annapolis in 2013. Yep, 2 people pretty much full time and we thought we'd be spending the summer doing more of the same but friends to the rescue!!!

Our cruising friends Mick & Bee on SY Hannah pulled into Portsmouth, VA in April. Our quick blitz down and back and their plans to head north again convinced us to put the tools away or at least pare them down to what we could take with us and get on with it.

It was our latest departure date ever for northern waters and we're hoping to get farther than we have so it's been a push so far. Everytime we stop we're fixing something but hey, that's boating for you.

We finally caught up with Hannah in Baddeck. We're working our way north pretty much together. and will post more pictures when we can. Sail on.
