Trenten Reef Paul turned 19 months yesterday and I can hardly believe how quickly the time has past since his birth in Papeete, Tahiti. We have been on quite an adventure, as always.

Papeete, Tahiti
We are anchored off marina Taina in Papeete, the main city on the island of Tahiti. This is the only 'big city' (250,000) we have seen in several months. Merry Christmas!
MERRY CHRISTMAS! s/v Red Sky has sailed down from El Salvador and joined us for Christmas. Perfect Wave, Red Sky and Maestro enjoyed the holidays with TOO MUCH FOOD, a couple of great anchorages and shared fun gifts aboard Maestro on the eve. Christmas morning we played Cricket with everyone including the crew of Bombalero. Good Times. Maestro opted to head a little farther south in the Island Group to Espiritu Santo and Isla Canas to bring in the New Year. We enjoyed the quiet anchorage for a few days, steak & lobster dinner, local village and natural beauty. When we were coming back from the local village our 10 year old dighny separated from the aluminum hull in several areas. (This isn’t the first time) Water was gushing in but we made it back in time to the mothership! That damn dighny – I sware!
