Anchored at Bahia San Quintin

We did some exploring on Isla St,. Martin, visiting a lagoon with a harbor seal rookery. There must have been 30 or 40 of them on the beach across the lagoon, about 100 yards from us. When the seals saw us they all took off into the water and started swimming towards us for a look see. Curiosity perhaps? It was interesting to see 30 or 40 little black seal faces sticking up out of the water looking at us. On the way back to the dinghy, I ended up with cactus spines in my foot...very painful! I was impaled in three places and they were very difficult to remove. And then to add insult to injury, we were sufficiently "baptised" by a breaking wave when we launched the dinghy off the beach. We didn't capsize, but we took a wave into the dinghy that drenched us pretty good. Oh well, guess we'll have to practice a little more!
Yesterday we had a 20 mile sail to a very large bay called Bahia San Quintin. It's a wild place, with long sand dunes and wide open beaches that we will explore today.
Sorry for no pictures lately, but posting by radio will not allow any attachments. I'll add pictures when we get wi-fi service.
