Bahamas Detour

Kathleen, Tia and I have parked our catamaran Mozzie in St Augustine for a few weeks and jumped aboard Galene - a new Prout 63 catamaran for a Bahamas trip with the president of Prout, America and his wife Sandy. We had another couple join us for the crossing - Stu and Doree - which was a big help with the night watches.
The catamaran has to be out of the US for a couple of weeks and we are happy to help out.
The crossing was rough, but this big cat handled it well. We are currently waiting for a NE blow to move out, so that we can explore more of the Abacos. The issue at the moment is that our draft of 5'6" is limiting the anchorages that we can get into.
We took a ferry over to Hope Town for lunch and exploring... what a beautiful place - we will return.
We plan to return to St Augustine late November and will continue our cruise to the Florida Keys on Mozzie.
