New Boat

06 January 2010 | Mazatlan, MX

"Windfall' is going up for sale! No, it's not what you think. We are not quitting cruising.

I didn't want to say anything until it was set in stone, but looks like the Faulkner Family is going to purchase a larger boat. Now, this endeavor is going to be challenging because the boat needs a new fuel tank and quite probably a new engine. No doubt, there are other things that she's going to need as well that is going to cut into our cruising budget... and not just mildly.

'Hotspur' (see the photo) is a 41' Tartan that will allow our growing family to trip over one another occasionally v.s. all the time. She is a beautiful boat that needs a lot of attention and we feel we are just the four people to take that responsibility on.

'Hotspur' is a center cockpit ketch which will allow us to put the kids in bunks in the forward cabin and Jim and I will be in the aft cabin. We are most happy with the open space and feel she will suitably fit our cruising needs. We'll get a webpage set up for pictures of the new boat.

'Windfall' is a 35' Cal Cruising and she will be aggressively priced for a quick sale! Anyone interested in a cruiser ready vessel needs to contact us ASAP!
