Jellyfish are prevalent in the Sea of Cortez. One way to avoid painful stings is by wearing our very cool Lycra suits we had made for us in La Paz by Katty. Carolyne picked out her material, was measured, and Katty had a full suit made for her in 3 days. The hood helps protect her face and neck from pesky 'string-of-pearls', which we have been warned about. Jim and Tim both said that they want one made for them when we head back to La Paz. I was shocked! I still don't know if they will REALLY wear them, but maybe in a secluded anchorage where no one else is around to take pictures. That means I'll have to be real sneaky! Mine is a brilliant Chinese red with yellow and white flowers. My thinking? Well, I hope I look real poisonous to anything with large, pointy, gnashing teeth.
