Canadian Beef in Mazatlan for Christmas
Meri
12/26/2009, Mazatlan, MX

It was fantastic! I went to Henderson's Meat Market for ribeyes, of which they had none. So I settled for plain old Canadian beef tenderloins... precious in their vacuum packs! I bought six steaks, three large and three small... I paid 130 pesos... that's $10USD at the current exchange rate... Amazing!

We made creamy garlic gratin potatoes, romaine tossed salad, broccoli with water chestnuts, crusty baked bread with melted butter and this to-die-for-melt-in-your-mouth tenderloin! What a Christmas feast! What heaven! What a deal!
