After 20 months of daily phone calls, monthly visits and too much time apart, they are together at last. Carl sold the townhouse, his furniture, what few toys he owned, his car and gave up the work clothes, the weekly commutes from WV to DC and a career as a Project Management consultant for the Federal Government to join Carrie and live out their cruising dreams while still strong enough to haul up the sails.

Carl and Carrie arrived in Ft. Myers Beach early on the morning of April 30th with the cats, Spike and Chloe. The "kids" have taken to Mo chuisle pretty well so far, and after a few days of lounging around they (make that Carl) will get to work making preps for the wedding (May 20th) and their first extended trip to the Keys and Dry Tortugas. They're very excited (DUH!!), and Carl's especially looking forward to changing out the pumps in the heads (NOT!).
