We spied this beautiful older cruising yacht in the anchorage near us and knew that there had to be an interesting history behind it. While we never met up with the crew or saw more than one or two people aboard, we Googled the vessel name and read that it is owned by Eric Clapton, however we learned from some local folks that the boat no longer belongs to him, but the vessel passes through the Caicos islands on a regular basis. They are leaving to take Blue Guitar north to Nassau in the coming days. Hopefully one of these days we'll get a glimpse of a famous owner on one of the Mega-yachts and they'll take an instant like to us and invite us onboard for a tour and a grand dinner...Well, maybe not, but we might cross paths at some point and get to meet them as well.
