First off, we're OK.

Carl and I headed back to Fort Myers two days ago. Alberto had other plans for us. As we were leaving Bahia Honda inching our way through shallow water to the channel heading out of Marathon, we were listening to the weather radio and thinking that things didn't sound that bad. Then we heard that the depression was gathering strength and would become the first tropical storm of the season some time that day. We called a few sailing buddies and conferred with them on our options and decided to turn around to head back to the mooring field in Marathon. Here we sit two days later.

We are waiting for a good weather window to start our way back home. Problem is, the storm is headed were we want to go.
