A 45-foot sailboat by the name of "Wild Hair" came into St. Thomas about a week ago an took a slip in CYOA. I had the pleasure of meeting them and helping them with their lines. After exchanging a few hello's and information about groceries and laundry, we went about our business. Later on I bumped into them again and learned that Heather and Dave had just finished a 14-day crossing from Jacksonville Florida. We invited them aboard Sanctuary along with another couple on Lone Star for Sundowners and shared all our stories about the cruising life. Heather and Dave brought along a bottle of Champagne that was given to them by friends to pop open when they succesfully completed their crossing. We felt honored that they wanted to share that momentous occasion with us.
