For the long Labor Day weekend this year we traveled south on the Chesapeake to St. Michael, a well known harbor on the Maryland Eastern Shore known for it's beautiful waterfront, it's Maritime Museum, the shops and restaurants, and another chance to get out and shake off the daily grind of working for a living. Carrie and I spent several glorious days on the bay, both getting there and back and enjoying the peaceful feeling of "swinging on the hook". Spike likes it too as he gets to spend much more time on deck without us chasing him off the dock back on to the boat. These trips always generate additional projects, but we're getting used to the cruising routine again and didn't want to come back.
