We passed in to the sunny state of Florida this morning and the weather seemed to change significantly (thankfully). After a night at anchor just south of the St. John's River (near Jacksonville) we motored into St. Augustine and anchored once again off the historic fort in America's First City. A healthy walk to the grocery store across the Lion's Gate bridge and we replenished a few necessary items, then met some fellow cruisers that also planned to "go outside" to transit in the Atlantic down the coast to the Ft. Pierce inlet.
