Hanging Out in Cocoa Village

We've been in Cocoa, Florida (not Cocoa Beach, but close) for about a week and a half now and have enjoyed the stay so far. Granted it's not the islands (we can tell by the color of the water and the fact that the temperature dipped into the 30's the other night) but the people have been friendly and the services are pretty good here. Today we enjoyed a rather large Crafts Fair in the area of town called Cocoa Village right within sight of where we dock the dinghy, and although we don't have the desire or the room to purchase knick knacks the temperature has reached back into the 70's and the skies were beautiful today. The walking around was nice and the people-watching wasn't bad either.
We plan to stay here another week or so to allow the weather up north to warm up a bit more before heading to Annapolis for the spring and summer. We both have some opportunities to replenish the Cruising Kitty in that area in hopes of making the islands next winter. Stay tuned.
