Back at the House

Kathy Evans
We had to leave Sandy Paws for a few weeks so Wes can have some shoulder surgery. We left her on the 25th of May and I can't wait to get back. This 3600 SF house JUST WON'T GO TO WINDWARD!!!

I'm taking in a couple of new fosters in for about 2 weeks. One is a 1 and a half yo Japanese Chin and the other is an 18 lb Shelty type. Both are adorable. I'll foster them until they either find their permanent home or until we have to leave to go back to the boat.

Fostering is the hardest job I've ever loved and so rewarding. I usually foster Great Danes so it's fun getting my feet wet with the smaller breeds. You never know what to expect. You bring in these guys that have lost their homes and sit back to see what's in the "package". Sometimes you get some pretty big surprises, mostly good ones.

The Chin is Kookie pronounced Cookie and the other is Bosco. I don't have Bosco yet and have only seen pix of him. However, he sounds like a nice little guy, most are.

Will update when I know more.
