15 March 2011 | Black Point, Great Guana Cay
Just a quick note to let people know where we are. We left Georgetown and went back to Long Island for a few days. We fished north with no luck. We then fished to Georgetown and were rewarded with one Mahi Mahi-finally!
We then spent two days in Georgetown to visit the bank and one last visit to Volleyball Beach and the Chat 'n Chill. We headed north and were not having fun, due to rough seas, so we ducked in to Rat Cay cut and headed north to the Marine Research Center on Lee Stocking Island. We did a little beach walking and then headed out the next morning. More fishing. We had a Mahi on, but after it's fourth jump, it got off.
We anchored in a small bay called Hetty's Land, south of White Point, Great Guana Cay. Had some nice beach walks and visits with friends.
We are now at Black Point to do some internet and laundry. Said Good-bye to our friends on Savage Son last night. They are headed to the states to visit Bob's mom who is not doing well.
More later.
