After coffee I moved everything out of the garage... again, and tore up the sole of our cabin to run the hoses to our cockpit. As things turned out I couldn't run the hoses under the starboard berth as I was hoping but there was room on top of our tanks. I took a break to think about things when Steve stopped by on his way to town. I decided to ride along to pick up our propane tank at Isles General-it was finally full! We stopped for a beer on the way back at the Yacht Club and then returned for some lunch.
Steve volunteered to assist running the hoses brought over some tools. We really didn't have much problem with the hoses except that one was too short and needed to a little two foot segment spliced in to the middle of the run.
After completing the plumbing in the galley I crawled into the basement of the boat to work on the connections at the shower itself. When we tested things, I got wet. The hoses in the mixer were all loose and took a little time to get tightened up the point where they would hold water. After a couple of attempts we finally got everything in order and thanks to Steve now have a working cockpit shower.
We really weren't too hungry so I ended up making some oyster stew for dinner. As is usually the case, we watched some video and read before getting some sleep.

After breakfast we emptied the "garage" and dug out the Windbugger. After some minor repairs to the vane we got it hoisted up in the forward rigging. It seems to be working but it is making more noise than it has in the past. Our monitor showed that it was generating 3 to 8 amps in 15 knots of wind, so for the time we will continue to let it run.
Chris from "Mr. Mac" stopped over to introduce himself while I was working and we made plans to get together on the beach this afternoon.
Kathy worked on stainless and I boiled the crab that we still had in our freezer and then spent an hour picking the meat out of the little buggers. Then I mixed up some cream cheese, mayo, and an egg to add to the mixture. After grating some parmesan on the top I popped it into the oven for about 30 minutes.
We took it to shore at 3 for a small get together and the dip was a hit. Along with Mr. Mac there was a couple from Australia. He was a truck driver and has not sailed before, intending to learn as they go. What he doesn't know about his boat and sailing could scare the rest of us out of the water.
On our way back we stopped a "Fine Lion" for a glass of wine and some continued conversation.
We watched an episode of "House" before hitting the sack.

Steve came over this morning to report that his electrical problem had been traced to a junction in the phone cable that connects his Link system to the Inverter/Charger. We spent a couple of hours attempting to make the new computer talk to the SSB so that we can have access to email. We had no success with that.
The remainder of the morning was spent with Kathy working on stainless, while I scrubbed the water line and got most of the salt off the topsides.
We took showers and headed into the Yacht Club around 1 p.m. for lunch and to run a few errands around town. Our propane tank had not finished filling (that's what I was told???) so we'll have to pick it up another day.
Back at the boat we read for a while and then listened to basketball until about midnight.
