It was calm this morning so at about 9am we headed for Long Island Breeze to get some laundry finished. By about 11 the place was hopping with folks taking advantage of the pool and stopping by for lunch. There was a photo walk led by Jim of "Salty Paws" leaving from the resort and the participants were taking photos of everything.
We spoke with Susan from "Night Hawk" and they were on their way from Georgetown. After lunch we saw them in the distance so we loaded up our clean clothes and headed out to meet them. We ran into a squall and had to make a beeline to "Sapphire" to keep things dry.
We spent some time reading and made some coleslaw which we took over "Fine Lion" for dinner. Steve grilled some potatoes and mahi, which we had with some green beans and Kathy's slaw. It was a great meal as usual and we had lots of fun catching up with Barry and Susan.
Steve and Kim came in before lunch and we joined them for the day's special of Lobster Fettuccini.

Really didn't do too much on Monday and Tuesday....we were both reading some good books and we did do some boat projects, but in general laziness was the rule. The race from Georgetown to Thompson's Bay was entertaining. Both listening on the radio and watching the finish from the boat.
On Tuesday we went ashore for a beach party with the Georgetown folks. I talked with some folks from Muskegon and a couple from the UP. We had a good time, but the group is way too organized for our taste. "Tilt" was there and a few other friends ... so it was nice to touch base with them.
We didn't stay too long and returned to listen to the Spartans get spanked in Madison.

We were planning on heading to shore today to do a load of laundry but the wind was from the south east and we may not have been able to our clothes back dry. So we stayed aboard and worked on projects listening to Big Ten basketball most of the day.
Bob ( Savage Son) called and invited us over for his pre-birthday party that evening. We marinated a flank steak to grill and made a salad out of black-eyed peas, onion, green pepper and celery. Just before we left I seared some tuna at brought it along as hors d'oeuvres. We were joined by Jay and Di (Far Niente) had pleasant evening and a wonderful meal.
We returned in time for most of the second half of MSU's 9th Big Ten win.
