Alligators?

Saturday, October 27 Goat Island to the Alligator River.
We were up before daylight again ... (which really ticks Kathy off), and on the road (read river) before 7:30. We were shooting for the 8:30 opening of the bridge at Elizabeth City... and when we radioed the bridge keeper a little early ... he opened it for us even though we were about 10 minutes early. It was a rainy day... steady, with about 15 mph of wind. But, with the temps still in 70's, I was completely comfortable in a tee shirt and swimming suit.
(Some of us put our rain gear on.)
We had another driving down the coast day. Mike made jambalaya for dinner- I made salad-pretty much a routine day.
