Despite their off-putting appearance, cockroaches are quite harmless, make good pets and in reasonable quantities, are not a reflection of the cleanliness of the boat.”
Moby came head to antennae with our first cockroach stowaway while preparing morning coffee. The loser of the battle was given a burial at sea.
Since that time, a few of his buddies have come out of hiding, so the boric acid/sugar mix will be top of our shopping list tomorrow. We will be armed and ready for battle.
