Finally...out of the boatyard and off sailing! Yahoo!!! Destination - Klein Curacao (translates to "Little Curacao"), a little island about 30 miles southeast of us. Our 1st sail was a bit unnerving as we sailed out of the protected harbor directly into 20 knot winds and choppy 3 to 6' seas...there is no bay to make that transition a little less "abrupt"! We anchored for the night, had a nice bottle of wine & h'ors doeurves while we opened our 1st "Message in a Bottle" - from cousin Laura Maineri!!
