Pender Harbour/ Sechelt Peninsula
08/04/2012, Garden Bay

Arrived in Garden Bay, Pender Harbour last night. Weather is warm and clear. Fanatstic inlet with lots of meandering bays. Got up early this morning to the sound of some busy woodpeckers ashore. Heading out for a cycle to see the sights.

Just arrived back from 4 days skiing up in Whistler. Had an awesome time. Stayed at "Chateau Chardonnay" compliments of a contra that Suzette did 10 years ago. Stayed with Ernie and Lori, really fun and interesting people. However body is feeling some unused muscles. It's great to be alive!!

Sailed from Mayne Island in Southern Gulf Islands to Vancouver. Anchored in False Creek. Right in the centre of Vancouver. Great spot

21/03/2012, Bellingham

Been in Bellingham for 4 days now, had a day skiing up at Mt Baker with a friend. Conditions were fantastic, sunshine, clear skies and LOTS of snow. Weather here in the marina last couple of nights has been very windy, although today much better, 2nd day if spring. Bellingham is a lovely town, lots of students, funky shops, cares and breweries

Here till Friday and then on to Vancouver

North to Alaska

Windjammer is currently tied up alongside at Shipyard Cove Marina at Friday Harbor and will remain there until early spring while we attend to business in Australia. We had a wonderful cruise around these stunning Islands and met some really interesting people with a common interest in classic boats. We also sailed down to Seattle then to Port Townsend for the wooden boat festival before returning home to Friday Harbor.
