A funny thing happened on the way down the dock....
While in Cabo San Lucas, we were out investigating the big, blue, axbow ship, Oberon. Oberon, we found out, is a support vessel to mega yachts. If the helicopter on your mega yacht breaks down, or if you run out of ice or chardonnay, Oberon will deliver to you - where ever you may be. She can power at 30 knts through any kind of seas or weather. Of course, when you own a mega yacht, the cost is not an issue!

We were also checking out a beautiful steel boat, an Amazon 44 called Swagman. As we were admiring her, a big voice boomed - Would you like a beer? We accepted and hence began our friendship with John, the Swagman. We sailed together to Los Frailes, then to Los Muertos, then on to La Paz. We have enjoyed his humour and intellect immensely - John is larger than life! We are not sure who adopted who, but we are looking forward to our paths staying connected. (and yes, ladies, he is single!!)
