Pattie & Ron are leaving the group today to drive to their new home in Arizona! We have really enjoyed meeting you both and look forward to more rallies with you and your three furry babies in the future!
We start this special day with more stunning views along Route 66.... here we "drop" into California on I40 which is right over top of Route 66.
We had to stop at the Route 66 Museum and Gift Shop in Victorville, California.
Later today, John will know why we had to stop at every Gift Shop we saw...
We are so good at parking in just the right way to get the best photo of all the coaches. You'd think we've never seen another one of these before!
Chauffer badges on display - I thought they were neat.
Judy booked us into an absolutely amazing RV Park for the night. The group has gathered - let the birthday festivities begin!
After the not quite famous Stir Fry & Coconut rice for dinner, it was time for the presents. Here Karnac tries to determine what is in the package.
LOL! His guess was "a wallet filled with pancake flour" - close, but no cigar - this was prickly pear cactus fruit candy.
His beer will stay chilled in style!
A very Canadian birthday day brownie, Eh! This one had Reese's peanut butter chips as a layer in the middle.... YUMMMMMMMMMY!
... and to top it off, some Buffalo Trace Bourbon Cream... think Bailey's but smoother and not so sweet. We could've drank that all night!
We seem to have started a collection of shot glasses while on this trip... not sure how that happened... :)
