Finally, we have some internet and we have some photos from our passage.

On our drive north from Mexico, we stopped in at Kathy & Al's place. They have done the trip and offered us their cruising guide and gave us lots & lots of tips.



We arrived in Liberia, Costa Rica and joined Laird & Glenda on Winterlude. We spent a great few days exploring the area.

Winterlude's crew was thrown a going away party by their friends Debbie & Harold. We thought we were going over for happy hour... it was happy hour alright! There were about 20 people there to wish us a great trip! I didn't get any photos of the party, except one of the view from Debbie & Harold's overlooking the infinite pool.



Lots of delicious dinners out and then.... it was time to cast off the dock lines. There was a champagne sendoff on the dock at Papagayo Marina.





The crew is looking ready to go! Winterlude received a great book on fishing from Trish & Steve on Kuyima. Thanks guys!



Some last minute puppy love from Luca. Gotta get it while we can!

We thought we should give the folks on the dock a blast from the air horn.... well, the trumpet part fell off and we had to circle back to retrieve it... and then we were truly on our way!
