So here we are in Apataki, somewhat remote, anchored in front of the Apataki Carenage (boatyard). The only giveaway that the boatyard is even there are the masts that show between the palm trees. It seems odd that it is here, but if you are sailing the south pacific, you really appreciate that they are here!



Things here are tidy and clean!



Pauline had told Glenda & I about the trail that leads to the Pacific Ocean side of the atoll.





So we followed it to the ocean.





Coral - coral everywhere!



It is a beautiful spot and we are enjoying every second. We wandered back to the inside and the boatyard. Pauline's son, Tony, was picking green coconuts using a long pole with a sharp hook on the end. To our great surprise, he asked us to sit down and have some fresh, fresh coconut water.



Delicious! This is the way to enjoy coconut water - and the packaging is environmentally friendly!
