June 18 had rolled around and our days in Tahiti were numbered. 2 more sleeps here in paradise. Winterlude would continue on to Suwarrow, Western Samoa, Fiji and then on to New Zealand without us.

One of the crew members (Deb) had become extremely homesick for the little people know as grandchildren. Little Jenna was only 3 weeks old when we headed to Mexico last year and sailing to New Zealand meant we would be home again after her 1st birthday. Ya, I couldn't do it!!

So, that being said - Winterlude would need to provision! Glenda & I went to the super store Carrefours and found their selection of products to be lacking. There is a great grocery store right by the Marina Taina and we give our thumbs up for all cruisers to go there instead. Look at this cheese selection... either we are in France or heaven!



The fellow at the cheese counter was very happy to oblige as we asked for a wedge of St. Agur....



Glenda and I did our very best shopping.
