While I was having Groundhog Days in the Vodafone shop the Dream Team finally made a mighty jump from Tavira to Ayamonte. Wow! We spent a lovely evening having a yummy BBQ on 'Happy Hour', then I bullied Freddie to fill his diesel tanks and go shopping and on Friday we LEFT the marina with the afternoon tide and like a mother duck Scrabbler herded the Dream Team ducklings up the mighty wild river. Bend after bend, whirlpool after whirlpool, deaf to the moaning about overheating engines Scrabbler dragged them all up to Alcoutim. There we dropped anchor and had a lovely evening together on Happy Hour again. Saturday we dropped in on Paul's finca and spent the day pleasantly in the shade, swapping stories with Marcel from 'Sorong' and Paul from 'Monaca', eating huge cherries, peanuts and drinking beer. Around 7pm we left them all to it and cruised towards the river mouth again. Tomorrow we will make some miles to get to Rota. But our conscience is nagging us. Will the Dreamy Ducklings ever find their way back to the sea?
