Day 3 Lagos to Porto Santo
23 August 2016 | Atlantic Ocean

We seem to be getting into a rhythm again. Sleeping better and time doing nothing easier to bear. No more clonking but the water generator connector packed in so we had to run the engine twice during the night to keep the batteries charged. In the morning Neil climbed into the cupboard and sorted out the connector pin, and now the generator is running better than ever, putting about 8amps in at one stage. Both fridges are running happily and hopefully no engine running tonight. We have had a comfortable day, with 1m swells and no more than 15 knots of wind. A small squid landed on our deck, and we have seen a few birds and flying fish around. A large pod of small dolphins joined us for a while which was exciting. Looks like we should be at Porto Santo by midday tomorrow. Over the last 24 hours we did 153nm and we have 109nm to go!
