Day 4 Galápagos to Marquesas

The wind picked up in the evening but we were lazy and nonchalant. We paid for it at 10pm when we had to put a reef in in the dark, always difficult as you can't see the sail and it's hard to figure out which rope is which. So not a good night sleep with the boat lurching around a bit in the choppy sea.
The morning was a lot calmer and we have had a great day sailing but tonight we will be cautious and leave a reef in the main.
Saw two fishing boats last night and a couple of dolphins today. Flying fish are around and the occasional sea bird.
We are currently sailing at 6.5 knots with 11 knots of wind on a reach. The sea is calm with a 1 metre swell. Yesterday we managed 153nm.
