Moorea here we come
21 July 2017 | Papeete Marina
Gillian
We have now been at Papeete marina for three weeks. The first week was great - enjoying the shops, the singing, the colours and the vibrancy of this town. We met up with Paul and Gina from Solace, a New Zealand couple who have circumnavigated and are now on their way home, joining them for a meal at the Roulette's (trucks serving fast meals in the harbour). It was great to hear of some of their adventures and hope we will see more of them along the way.
Our second week - we left the boat at the marina and flew to NZ for five days to visit Neil's Mom.
Week three - jobs done - gas, laundry, fuel, provisioning. The weather looked a little unpredictable so we waited, but tomorrow is the day to go! Our next stop is the island of Moorea, a short two hour sail.
