Day 2 Suwarrow to Nuie
05 September 2017 | South Pacific Ocean

All is well on board. Nice light breeze all night with restful sleep. A nearly full moon shone brightly all night which always makes things more pleasant. Neil caught two small yellowtail tuna this afternoon but one got away. The other is perfect for our dinner tonight. So long since we have had fish that I am positively drooling. This passage is different to the others in that we have not been able to provision at all and have no fresh fruit or veg, besides one pamplemousse (half eaten already), one small tomato and a handful of limes. We are eating tinned fruit to have something fresh, and home baked bread with boring marmite or jam. We still have some frozen meals though so have something nutritious to eat in the evening. Currently we have 15 knots of wind and are making about 5.5 knots. Yesterday we made 152 nm.
