Day 2 Nuie to Tonga

Before dusk last night, Neil caught an 11kg Mahi Mahi, so once more the freezer is filled to the brim with fish. We had a peaceful night sailing with a bit of activity at 1am when a wind shift meant we needed to pole out the jib. This morning the wind got up to 15 knots but now it is back to 11 and we are sailing slowly towards Tonga in calm sea and blue skies. It feels a little cooler now, with the cabin temperature only 25 degrees, down from 32 degrees. We have been sleeping with a light cotton blanket and wearing thin fleece jackets at night. Still on track for a morning landfall.
