Success!! We've finally mounted and wired up our new Superwind wind generator on a shiny stainless pole that also incorporates an outboard lifting crane and LED deck light. So far we've not had a huge amount of wind to see just what this thing can do, but it's certainly generating electricity and no smoke has escaped from anywhere so I think we'll file that in the "Good Thing" category.

And for all those Negative Nancys that opine about wind generators being too noisy you need to come listen to this one before passing judgement. It is very, very quiet indeed.
