Well, we did it! We've sold the house (settled yesterday) and have moved onto the boat. We sorted, sold, threw out, or moved all of our possessions, and I severely underestimated how long it would take! Luckily a friend very kindly offered the use of his storage facility that was nearly empty, so we have put a lot of the "we'll have to think about that one" items in there which we'll then sort one box at a time once we get everything on the boat sorted and stowed away. Even though some things have been in storage for only a week, I'm already coming to terms with letting them go, so will unpack and sell them off.

Since we only just settled yesterday, we've had a nice 'day off' today and have managed to recharge some of our batteries that have been run down from the 3-4 weeks of emptying the house since we went unconditional.

Time for another sundowner now :) ;)
