Looking for Shelter

With a strong Southerly pushing Otter into the narrow canal, I found it difficult to get off the town dock. In the end Otter was turned about using lines alone and once again I was wishing I had someone along to lend a hand. There's bad weather heading my way in the next few days. Somewhere along the way a sailor once told me that if I ever get the chance I should look for Slade Creek. Well, what do you think I should find not more than 2hrs out from Belhaven. I made straight for it and spent the next two nights tucked into 7ft of water along a tree lined shore with nice soft mud for my Rocna anchor to chew on. Otter and I both got a good cleaning here and I enjoyed taking the rowing pram out for an explore.
