The dink was half filled with water this morning. I will need to bail it out three times to keep it from swamping. Wind is NE 20-30 with gusts to 35-40. The barometer is at 29.83 and continues to fall. The sky is dark and gray. Don't expect much solar output today, will need to conserve battery power. By 1630 the barometer steadys out at 29.70" and stays there till 1900hrs when it begins to rise and I see the wind shift to the Southwest. This is the indication that the storm center has passed North of me. The winds and seas were never a threat with Otter safely tucked into this cove. The only potential problem was from dropping water levels. I started with 8ft but only 4-1/2ft now. Otter draws 4ft. I rowed out and set my second anchor out to pull her into deeper water. It wouldn't be much of a problem if she did ground in the nice soft mud bottom here.
