We had a day of mixed sailing and motoring, for a fairly long haul to Vancouver. Attached is a photo of Ian sailing Morning Star in English Bay towards False Creek. In the background is Vancouver, Ian's place of birth!

Later on, about 14:00, we went over to Tango to investigate their keel since they had previously run aground on Shipyard Rock at Silva Bay. We dove into the water, and found that it was not as warm as we thought it would be... We dove under their boat and checked out the keel, to find that it was just missing a hand-deep chunk, but no structural damage. We came back up, and promptly went back in. Ron and Neal tried different flips and dives off of the deck (attached is a photo of Neal), and I took videos of their dives. When we couldn't feel our hands any more, we came back up for the last time, and dried off. After about 20 minutes, we were back to work again, fixing up some screens for Tango's hatches, until we went home and got to bed.

We arrived in Buccaneer Bay on August 10th, and to our surprise, Ron and Suzie passed us. We met up and decided that they would anchor out with us in Buccaneer. We took some chicken curry over to Tango and shared their pasta and watermelon. Next morning, the 11th, they came over for bacon, eggs, and waffles, then we went out to the beach.
