We put in a long day, sailing and motoring from Vancouver through Gabriola Passage, and on to Ganges. We had great wind across the Gulf of Georgia, so really enjoyed sailing our boats, and we timed the currents at Gabriola very well. There were more currents than the wind would allow, so we did motor through there, thrilled by the waves and eddies.
Gabriola-Ganges we were in total calm and flat water, so Sea Quell towed Morning Star, and the two sailors shared each other's company.
We arrived at sunset, in time to take this photo of Ganges in the evening.

Here we are in False Creek in Vancouver with Oma (my Gandmother). We just took her over from Sea Quell to see my boat (Morning Star), and were listening to songs from the 1930s. We set the camera up for timer mode, and the two of them made funny faces until we finally got one right.
Later on we went to dinner at Bridges where we saw two contenders for the world's most self obsessed dinner conversation at neighboring tables (Those same tables simultaneously hosted the world's most bored date competition).

Anchored in False-Creek. We had a long sunny day. After anchoring and tidying the boats, we wait for Joyce (Oma) to join us. Here's Ian showing off his sun-tan, aboard Morning Star.
