Work Progresses
04/18/2006

Work on SV has been slow, but it's progressing. You can see the CAD drawings of the new galley on our website. What I want are photos of the finished product. Patience.

Galley continued
03/20/2006

Where the hull curves, Michael has used his CAD program to find the perfect height for the stove. The microwave will have its own cabinet above. What appears as a 90 degree angle in the photo has been lopped off to a nice 45 degrees to match the other angles on the counter. A trash bin will be at the end there. We can reuse the nice mahogany drawers and doors from the old galley.

Galley Work
03/20/2006, Still in Delta Bay

Michael's madly trying to complete work on the new galley, which we moved from the pilothouse to the lower salon. The access to the cockpit isn't as good, but the storage and workspace is much improved. I now have a u-shaped counter at an appropriate height--much better for use in a seaway. We've also added a lot of undercabinet storage.
