16 March 2008 | Ft. Mitchell, Kentucky
Glenn.
The day of our planned departure came....came again....and then came again. It seemed to take forever to get ready, but we finally got things squared away and left.

Leaving later in the day (early evening) we drove south into Montana and stopped for the night at Shelby, Montana. Our trip then took us across the lonely top of Montana, finally angling south in eastern Montana, to join the Interstate 94 close to the North Dakota line. We followed the I94 across North Dakota, Minnesota, Wisconsin and (after it joined the I90) through Chicago and up again into Michigan.

We stopped in Michigan for almost two days to visit family. Sue's parents and sister were visiting Sue's other sister who lives in Michigan. We spent some time with them. Jacquie and Ben got to know a couple cousins they'd not really gotten to know before and had a blast. They were missing them as we drove south Sunday afternoon & lamenting our having to leave.

Tonight we are in a pretty strange hotel, called the Drawbridge Inn. The Drawbridge Inn is located in Ft. Mitchell, Kentucky (just across the Ohio river from Cincinnati, Ohio) and has the look inside and out of a medieval castle; kids love it...especially the indoor pool in the courtyard. The hotel is 10 or 12 miles from the Answers in Genesis Creation Museum, where we plan to tour tomorrow; should be an interesting day.

Q: Why "Seawing"? A: "If I take the wings of the morning, and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea; Even there shall thy hand lead me, and thy right hand shall hold me." (Psalms 139:9-10)
"And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent: Because he hath appointed a day, in the which he will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he hath ordained; whereof he hath given assurance unto all men, in that he hath raised him from the dead." (Acts 17:30-31)
