With another state behind us, we continued down the Ditch and into Florida, pulling into Palm Cove Marina at Jacksonville Beach along with Fiere Allure. We had considered anchoring elsewhere, but of the dozen boats riding on the hook there, half of them had been abandoned and were in varying states of decay, and it felt as though we were cruising into some sort of Twilight Zone.... We decided we would not be comfortable swinging at anchor in this Boneyard for Boats, and carried on the the nearest marina!
