Southward From Banderas Bay

On Monday the 15th of March, with Sequitur's fridges, freezers and pantry now fully restocked, we were ready to continue south. I walked up to the marina office, timing my arrival for 0920, allowing ample time for the office staff to have arrived after their 0900 scheduled opening. The office was not yet open, though the sign on the door said 0900, so I went back to the boat to continue preparing her for sea. (Continued...)

In Puerto Vallarta

Among the projects on my list while alongside in Puerto Vallarta was to clean-out the bilges. This is never a pleasant task, and it is one I had been putting off for quite a while, but with Edi away to Vancouver, this was a good time to attack it. The bottom of Sequitur's main bilge is about 1.1 metres below the level of the cabin sole, and it is into here that all her other bilges drain. (Continued...)

To Puerto Vallarta

Edi had accepted an offer on her house on Vancouver Island, and the deal was closing, so she decided to fly back to Canada to make sure everything fell properly into place. Thankfully, the Olympics were over; our loft is adjacent to Vancouver's Olympic Village, and had she gone a week or two earlier, getting around would have been nearly impossible. She planned on spending a few days there and to run a lot of errands. (Continued...)
