We have entered the dreaded ITCZ--Inter-Tropic Convergence Zone. We soon learned what a squall is--over and over again. Actually, it was refreshing to feel the cool rain the squall would bring.

I did not have much luck fishing--except for the flying fish and squid that would land on the deck at night. It was my job to throw them off each morning or we would have a nasty stink in a few days.

Hundreds of miles from land we would have Brown Boobie birds circle our boat. After many tries this guy, whom we named Bobby, landed on our dinghy. We felt sorry for him and let him stay the night...our mistake.
